In a continuation of our efforts to spread the virtues of structural engineering tomorrow I’ll be giving a lecture to 4th year Architecture students at the Bartlett. The talk will mainly focus on how we can inform intelligent form through an understanding of structural simplicity and elegance. For anyone interested in this field I’d recommend checking out the legendary D’arcy Thompson and his book, ‘On Growth and Form’!
