The Old Court installation for Clare May Ball 2012 The Divine Comedy. A freeform tensegrity with nine compression struts representing each of Dante’s Circles of Hell. It was built out of polypropylene drain pipes and nylon cord, and designed as part of an MEng thesis. It survived until 03h00 before its cords were cruelly cut in a militant vengeful anti-tensegrity act to make way for a silly photo.
